FRP Bridges - Fibre Reinforced Polymer
The strength of these bridges is due to the Fiber Reinforced Plastic or Polymers that make up the sections. As these are generally glass, this form of structure can also be referred to as glass Reinforced Plastic or GRP bridges.
One of the benefits of Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) is that it requires virtually no maintenance. Other benefits include: Ease of installation, reduced lead times and corrosion resistance.
The bridges are so light they can be easily man-handled into site or by using a beam trolley. Or if access is particularly difficult, they can be flown in by helicopter.
Ideally suited to truss construction these bridges are backed up by CTS's design expertise of over 25 years.
FRP Bridges - Fibre Reinforced Polymer
