Two FRP Bridges, Powys - Ref 4974

CTS Bridges recently installed two new FRP cycle bridges for Powys CC's Active Travel Scheme on the Elan Valley Cycle Path.  

Elevated Boardwalks at Designer Outlet, Cannock - Ref 4648

As part of a £110m contract secured by Bowmer and Kirkland for the Mill Green/McArthur Glen Outlet Village in Cannock CTS Bridges designed, manufactured and installed a 117.5m long, raised timber walkway, which comprised a faceted 3.3m wide circular central section, plus a 25m cranked steel walkway with steps and a playground access ramp with steel steps.

A new 3 span bridge for pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians has just been installed by CTS Bridges Ltd using a 250 tonne crane over the Ryhope-Doxford Link Road.

Hiab installation In Seaburn, Sunderland

Miller Homes ordered an 8m x 1m pedestrian footbridge for their new housing development at Sandbrook Meadows, Seaburn, Sunderland.   A basic FSC softwood bridge with a simple Type B Post and Rail handrail was requested along with a non slip Hi-Grip Excel deck. 

Arched timber bridges

Many customers request an arched bridge to give a more pleasing aesthetic when the bridge is viewed from the side.  One solution that CTS can provide is by cutting a camber into the beams of the bridge to give a gentle arch to the underside of the beams.

Bridge and Stairs at Dixons Trinity Academy, Leeds - Ref 4658

CTS Bridges have recently completed installation of a new 26.65m x 2.45m Steel Vierendeel Through truss bridge at Dixons Trinity Academy, Leeds for Willmott Dixon.

5 Bespoke Bridges at RHS Bridgewater, Salford

A derelict space in Salford was chosed as the site for the 5th RHS public garden and CTS Bridges were approached to supply the five new bespoke footbridges at the new RHS Bridgewater gardens.

Having supplied two vehicle access bridges to the site the previous year to enable site traffic to access the site, CTS were delighted to be involved with the five ornamental timber bridges required in the new gardens to ease the flow of visitors around the new gardens.
