73.5m (3 span) x 4.2m Bow Arch U Frame Warren Truss - Ref 4956
A new 3 span bridge for pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians has just been installed by CTS Bridges Ltd using a 250 tonne crane over the Ryhope-Doxford Link Road.
The Non Motorised User (NMU) bridge comprises three spans of 20mx 33.5m & 20m and has an internal width of 4.2m and is designed as a Bow Arch U frame Warren Truss. The bridge has a 1.8m parapet for equestrian use with a Hi-Grip Excel non slip deck in durable Ekki hardwood.
The client was Esh Construction who were successful in securing the contract from Sunderland Council for the Ryhope Doxford Link Road
